Bayside Coffee is located in the small fishing community of Charleston, Oregon near Coos Bay

and on the way to the State Parks and beaches.

We only purchase coffee beans that are produced and sold using Fair Trade standards ensuring that

farmers receive a livable wage to support their families and improve their communities.

Most products and gift items in our shop are from local sources or are fair trade imports

from the countries where our coffee is sourced. We have a some food items as well as

a nice selection of fine loose-leaf teas.

Small batch, fresh-roasted coffee for retail and mail order. Purchase coffee and loose leaf teas in our shop or from our website.

We purchase certified organic and fair trade green beans and roast them to perfection two pounds at a time in our air roaster. Beans are usually roasted every morning to provide the freshest coffee possible to our customers.

Our fine loose-leaf teas are from the Jasmine Pearl Tea Co. in Portland.  Sold by the cup or in 3 oz. bags, our tea has superior flavors and a better value than the crushed leaves that are sold in teabags.  Requiring less packaging and processing, you can be assured that you are paying for a quality drinking experience.

The owners were knowledgeable and genuine. They asked us where we are from - and recommended places along the coast for us to go! The coffee tastes incredible and fresh, one of the best mochas we've ever had!

The coffee was the best cup I have ever had. The owners are lovely people who even gave me a roasting lesson while there. A must for coffee lovers.

"Wonderful Fresh Coffee”

We stopped in because the smell of fresh coffee drew us in. This place is a wonderful find. They do it right - roast their own coffee frequently (daily?) and let it settle for a day or two. Then they grind their coffee for each day's consumption. This is the only way to get all of the health benefits from this nutritious drink. It also tastes better when everything is fresh. They also sell packages of their freshly roasted coffee from various counties. We would consider coming here every morning when camping nearby.

Great coffee and fun proprietors! Wonderful location with other shops nearby. You can go by on your way to or from Sunset Bay or Shoreacres or just let it be a great destination!
